This work session aimed to articulate a research agenda around HIV criminalization drawing on the expertise of relevant stakeholders including policymakers, advocates, researchers, and other individuals who have been affected by laws that criminalize HIV transmission and exposure such as prosecutors, public defenders, and defendants.
