Magnetohydrodynamics - Barry Belmont - Aero Dynamics - Lecture 23 of 24 - Video-lecture

Video-lecture, Fluid Dynamics

Description: This collection of videos was created about half a century ago to explain fluid mechanics in an accessible way for undergraduate engineering and physics students. Viscosity often cannot be neglected near solid boundaries because the no-slip condition can generate a thin region of large strain rate (known as Boundary layer) which enhances the effect of even a small amount of viscosity, and thus generating vorticity.
