Why pay for content that they are not interested in? People want content on the go, easily accessible from all of their devices. Time = Money. Commercials are time consuming and bothersome. At any point in time, the content providers can raise their prices. Netflix would have no other choice other than to pay the high price, in order to maintain their library.
