All throughout the Cold War, we Americans would commonly refer to the Soviet Union as "Russia." But my understanding is that Russia was only part of the Soviet Union. To put it another way, my thinking is that all Russians were Soviets, but not all Soviets were Russian. Does anyone agree?
I know some points of it like how it wad an attempt to resolve Germanys reparation problems but I want to know it in a bit more detail and if it was successful and if not, why not. THANK YOU!

I'm talking about the thing they usually do with their hats as a salutation. Where they grip the front edge and tilt their hat forward slightly. Do they actually have a name for it? Like, for example when women grab the edges of their skirt and bow a little; I believe that's call curtsying.

"I'm trying to make a power point for a class, and one of the slides include info on ""Games of the Great Depression"". Were there even games played during that era? If so, then was there some popular ones. What was their appeal then, and are any of those games still played today? If anyone could answer at least one of these, possibly all of them, that would be super!"

I was wondering about Martin Luther King Jr. Did he also improve the lives of other non white people? I consider being brown, etc, being colored, so were Mexican people also segregated to color only restaurants and such? You hear a lot about black people being harassed, but I can honestly say I've never heard anything about Mexicans and other people of color.
"The British Empire was as much a Scottish enterprise as an English one. Why today are Scottish social attitudes and the foreign policies of Scottish political parties much more internationalist and peaceable than those of the frequently warmongering and neo-colonial English parties? An independent Scotland would have a foreign policy somewhere between Sweden and Cuba. The UK, on the other hand, sees itself as Uncle Sam's little helper. What factors led to this divergence?"
