Using wave nature of light can we invisible the light?

the object is said to be invisible when it is not visible to you. but for anything to be visible it should reflect back light. the object is said to be invisible if the object is reflecting the same intensity and wavelength of light as of surroundings.light enables us for visibilty and if you make light invisible there will be no light ie it will reflect no light and everything willl seem to us as black and dark.... you will not be able to see anything.
