Would trust a historical writer before WW1 or WW2 over a historical writer AFTER WW1 or WW2?

instance...H.Grams. Wells's "Schema associated with Background" versus. T.Meters. Roberts "History of the planet "..or even "Grettle Davies.."Europe" (good reputation for The european union since Ancient times )

All writers are biased, the degree of this bias is what's important. It depends also where they live and the audience they're writing for. How a writer shows the depth of his knowledge about the topic he has tackled is the most important item. Is his writing a general discussion of the subject or an in-depth review of the topic.
