For the data in #8 and #9 of Chapter 1, do the following:
- Find the correlation matrix for the variables using PROC CORR in SAS. Compare your answers with part 8h and 9f.
- Find the scatter plot matrix for the variables.
- Perform the hypothesis test of Ho:ij=0 vs. Ha:ij0 for each variable pair. Are there any significant correlations?
- Why is not necessarily informative to look at scatter plots involving categorical variables?
