What I need to do to achieve the – experience, skills, attributes, qualifications etc. Many companies will favour my talents above my degree topic, and my preferences, personality, and values will encourage them to recognise my characteristics. That is not to say that my degree is not valuable. However, in order to advance my career and gain experience, skills, qualities, credentials, and other vital things, I must do well in all fields. I may do a variety of activities to focus on my strengths, such as applying for an advertised opening, volunteering, or gaining work experience. This will enable me to get additional experience, skills, and the traits and certifications I need to finish my degree. I have a lot of transferable skills from my previous experiences. I worked with children old people and families with difficulty since I was 16 years old volunteering. 6. My own current skill set and how I would evidence these My creative thinking and high attention to detail are my strongest assets, allowing me to generate original and accurate work that is focused on the objectives set for my job responsibilities. Another skill that I am most confident in it is integrity and empathy. I have noted these skills in different moments of my life, working with people of different ages. I am also a very motivated and hardworking person. Another skill that I develop is active listening. Working and being a lot among people of different ages I had the opportunity to develop the ability to listen and give advice and help as much as I could. I also like to think that I have a lot of things to learn from others and the more I give from myself, the more I learn from those around me. 7. How this work and process evidence my completion of stage 1 of the Career Development Award. I started doing something about the competition of stage 1 of the Career Development Award, but I didn’t manage to complete all the information needed. This will be part of my PDP. By completing the Bronze level, I will be able to pass to the next two levels, Silver and Gold. This will help me to achieve a certificate and a digital badge to use on my LinkedIn profile and to 6 be ready to start work. Anyway, everything I wrote in this work will help me to complete the Bronze level. 8. My PDP – My gaps - landscape version embedded within the word document and SMART I mostly struggle with time management because I frequently lose track of time. It was a difficult adjustment for me, but by writing down all of the chores I needed to accomplish in an agenda and marking my deadlines, I was able to keep track of my tests and the necessary revision for each of them. Another thing with which I am struggling is communication skills, both verbal and written. I want to improve my capacity to communicate with the written word to improve my writing abilities. I'd also like to improve my abilities by talking to my teacher, classmates and manager about my input on the field in which I work, which might help me improve my talents. SMART GOAL WORKSHEET INTENTION SPECIFIC MEASURABLE ATTAINABLE RELEVANT TIME- BASED What do you want to achieve? Who? What? Why? Where? When? How much? How often? How many? Achievable? It is relevant to your ultimate vision? When? Improving time management I am going to improve my time management skills in terms of deadlines, courses and review seminars this time, which I must attend to pass my assignment. I am going to increase this ability every week. I am going to make a list, prioritise important tasks, focus on results, etc. Being able to manage my time efficiently can help me avoid stress and produce high-quality work. I will start next week Communication skills I want to improve my verbal and written communications skills so I can communicate effectively I am going to develop these skills once a month I am going to use books reviews or creative writing to improve public By improving these skills I will be able to write documents and I will start next month 7 spiking and writing communicate effectively 9. Conclusion In this essay, I have concluded by evaluating my existing strengths and weaknesses as well as how I will overcome them by building a SMART action plan. To reflect on me, I used Career Development Theory, which helped me express what I had learned about myself. This allowed me to consider what I want to accomplish with my criminology studies in the future, as well as what I need to do to earn experience, skills, attributions, certifications, and so on. I also presented my PDP in which I outlined my aims for achieving my goal using the SMART model. All of these things, especially PDP in my career, assisted me in strengthening the development of personal and professional abilities that I had lacked throughout my life. As a result, this unit has aided me in the development of a variety of employability skills that I will need in the future. Consequently, I have been able to improve in order to better prepare myself for the future on a practical level, such as preparing to find a career or setting and fulfilling goals. Self-reflection is beneficial because it makes me feel better, helps me build key beliefs, and allows me to conduct a personal study that matches my life with my job aspirations.
