We are a nation of non-readers. We read things we care about/like. We buy more non-fiction than fiction. Non-fiction answers "Why?" questions for curious people. We don't really share non-fiction readings with kids, so were neglecting them of this. TERM 2

1. What r authors' qualifications. (proper credentials: PHD). 2. R facts accurate and up to date? Way to find this out is to go to bibliography; should have refrences from last 2 yrs. 3. Is the book realistic? Books need to portray the truth. 4. R facts and theories clearly distinguished for kids? Ex: There is no conclusive evidence of gloabl warming.
