Assistive or adaptive devices - ANSWER-Special equipment that helps a person who is ill or disabled to perform activities of daily living. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Therapist - ANSWER-Identifies communication disorders, addresses factors involved in recovery, and develops a plan of care to meet recovery goals. Also evaluates a person's ability to swallow food and drink. Registered Dietitian (RDT) - ANSWER-Creates diets for residents with special needs. May supervise the preparation service of food and educate others about healthy nutritional habits.

Medical Social Worker (MSW) - ANSWER-Determines residents' needs and helps get them support services, such as counseling or financial assistance.
