Metatarsal guards that protect the upper foot from impacts. - Conductive shoes that permit static electricity to drain off. Rubber boots that protect against oil, water, acids and other chemicals. - Electrical hazard shoes that offer protection against shock hazards Hand Protection...3 hazards, mechanical, environmental, and irritating substances. - Hand Protection...gloves, hand pads, sleeves, and wristlets. Head Protection....Hard hats..must do 2 things...resist penetration and absorb the shock of a blow. - Hard hats also are used to protect against electrical shock....Inspect your hard hat daily, and clean at least once a month in soap & water. Eye Protection and Face protection is required by OSHA. - Eye Protection must provide protection against hazards for which they are designed. Be reasonably comfortable when worn. Fit snugly, Be durable, Be capable of being disinfected, Be easily cleaned,be kept clean & in good repair. - Eye protection...Eyewash facilities must be available...Clean Eye wear daily Hearing Protection..Preformed or Molded ear plugs, fitted professionally.
