Professional development refers to the process of developing skills and abilities that enable us to enter or advance in a job. Career development involves learning how to work with others, develop relationships with colleagues and collaborate effectively. Employee growth typically includes two important areas-job growth and professional development. Business development offers the broader view of education which directly relates to the employees job development and business design. Business development skills identify the right range of the employer's job statement providing the skills and abilities needed for the development and growth required for leading positions. The aim of this essay is to examine, discuss and analyze the characteristics and attributes of effective professional development. This essay will examine the definition of professional development, determine the necessary skills needed in order to be an effective professional development plan and consider the ethics and values defined within the framework of professional career guidance. Professional development includes: Developing personal skills, such as communication and problem solving; building confidence in oneself; learning how to manage stress and anxiety; developing self- esteem, which can be achieved through positive self-care practices; developing self- efficacy, which can be achieved by taking responsibility for your own life choices and actions; developing self- awareness, which can be achieved by reflecting on your own strengths and weaknesses; improving self- esteem, which can be achieved by improving your ability to cope with stressful situations. Professional Development is made up of two ideas between employers and employees; what will professionals do to keep up with their job growth and how will employers improve their personnel when budgets are squeezed? (Mandle, C., Oct. 2012). (Carucci, R., Sep. 2017)Nowadays, most professionals realize the unstable nature of relying solely on employers to 2 CAREER DEVELOPMENT 5 € have been aware of within your industry. The career path that you choose is important because it helps determine what kind of career you want to pursue and where you should go next. If you don't know what type of career to pursue, then it's best to find out more information about the career options available in your area. Career guidance for professionals looking to get started in their career, there are many resources available online. To achieve their business goals and take control of their career path, employees will benefit from the variety of training and growth opportunities, with the focus on extending their education and knowledge in different parts of the job; either as formal business movements, or by getting involved at tasks outside of their day-to-day remit. There is also the Further Education system, formal training classes, mentoring and external work, for instance. (Pozniak, H., Apr. 2018). Young professionals must make their own business ways by searching out opportunities to improve skills and education, networking with the good people and plotting each turning direction along the way. (Lewis , K. R., Nov. 2014). The Professional development plan (PDP) is a useful document that demonstrates both the business development goals and the strategy for gathering them. Whether you’re going out on your own business venture, a job or reassessing your next career or professional growth, the PDP serves as a practical road map that outlines strengths, weaknesses, areas of need, and resources available to you. In this case, it's a guide to help you identify what needs are most important for your organization and how to address those needs. The PDP provides guidance on how you can best use the resources you have at your disposal to achieve these goals. It also offers a framework for evaluating the effectiveness of your efforts. It's a great resource for identifying opportunities to improve your organization and career. It's also a great resource for assessing the impact of your work. 5 CAREER DEVELOPMENT 6 € A great job development professional will help you explore business choices, will inform you of work market trends, and will evaluate your skills, interests, and work-related values. The business development professional will help you adjust your job search skills, and will help you learn how to move up the corporate ladder. While credentials are not the only thing you should see, they represent a great starting point when you are selecting somebody to inform you about the job. A business development professional who is helping the customer select a business may administer the multi-aptitude test to determine the customer's abilities and, later, jobs that need them. It is important to notice that the kind of tool should never be applied in isolation. There are some different factors to consider when choosing a job. They consider the individual's personality form, interests, and work-related beliefs. The type of job can also affect the level of education or experience needed. In addition, the type of job can also affect how much time an employee has available to complete a project. For example, if an employee works at a large company where he or she is expected to work on projects with high levels of responsibility, then the amount of time an employee will have to complete projects may be very limited. In addition, it is important to note that many people do not have the ability to take on more demanding jobs because they are too busy to devote time to their personal life. Recently, young people seek more to accomplish a successful job than to make a home. They think that early establishment of business will provide a better financial foundation for the better home in the future. Attaining business and professional development takes a lot of efforts and time and comes the moment when it seems that we are late for the house. It is so that a better job is a requirement for better income, which give better time for the family, but what’s this fact if we don’ ’t have a family to share our success with. It is not only about earning money but also having a good relationship with your spouse or children. This is the reason why many people 6 CAREER DEVELOPMENT 7 € don't get a chance to pursue their dreams because they feel that it is too hard to achieve them. It is very important to find a career that suits you and make sure you are happy with your life as well as your family. There are many ways to find a career that will help you in achieving what you want. Here are some of the most popular ones: 1-start a business 2- start a company 3- become an entrepreneur 4-join a startup 5-start your own business 6-start a side hustle 7-learn how to be an entrepreneur 8-become a freelance writer 9-become a freelance photographer 10- start your own business 11-take part in events. It is also important to know that you cannot do everything yourself. It is always advisable to seek advice from others who have done it before you. This way you can get more information about the industry and its trends. The business development plan is never complete. If you want to keep going forward in your business, you must keep developing your skills. Education is a lifelong process, and the PDP is a career-long plan. As long as you’re the in the business you are pursuing your career in, the PDP can be a huge portion of your business Success Tool kit. (Scivicque, C., Jun. 2011) Well, we shouldn't’ paint with too wide of a brush. Everyone must develop their own ideas and PDP's at a time. In conclusion, it is important to note that there are many ways to become an expert in something. It is not only about being able to do what you want, but also having the ability to apply your knowledge to your chosen field. This is why I believe that we should all strive for excellence in whatever we do. If you have a passion for something, then go out and pursue it! It will take time, effort and dedication. However, if you are willing to put in the work, you can achieve anything. It is important to remember that no matter how hard you try, nothing will ever be easy. You must always keep learning and improving yourself. 7
