A research proposal presented by group 6, consisting of reynalyn amistad, katrina corpuz, kim cherry inot, frances jane ramos, and dea meir sebastian, for their practical research subject in abm. The study aims to determine the factors and reasons why the natural environment of sived beach influences entrepreneurs in establishing food services there amidst the pandemic. The research design employs a case study approach, and data will be gathered through open-ended interviews with 10 to 15 entrepreneurs who have constructed their businesses along the beach. The study will answer research questions related to the impact of the natural environment on the selection of location, the differences between sived beach and other locations, and the factors entrepreneurs consider before building their food service outlets.

The world had come in chaos. The environment is now suffering. And that’s mainly procured by the unprecedented arose of Covid-19 pandemic. (background effect)tugtugtug With no exemptions, the pandemic had impact the economy mainly on business! And now it is undoubtedly and certain (pause) that numerous businesses, with no exemptions, had experience bankruptcy having a lots of debt mainly putting an end to its business operations. (Scenery or Overview of Sived: Food Outlets, Road, Sand, Waves, Beach, Sunset, Bonfire) Despite of this, entrepreneurs are now rising and striving harder, to earn back their economic losses due to the pandemic. With this overview, we, the Group 6 are here today to propose a study on the factors that influence entrepreneurs to develop businesses, particularly those along Sived Beach in Sto. Domingo, despite the current crisis in our world. (End effect: Sunset) Video Proper: A pleasant afternoon and a blessed day our dear classmates, and to our research teacher Mr. Domondon. I am Amistad, Reynalyn D. the group leader of Group 6 and we will be presenting our research proposal entitled, “Natural Environment: A Factor Influencing the Decision of Entrepreneurs in Establishing Food Services along Sived Beach amidst the Pandemic" To formally start, let me introduce to you our group. We have me, Reynalyn Amistad, Ms. Katrina Corpuz, Ms. Kim Cherry Inot, Ms. Frances Jane Ramos and Ms. Dea Meir Sebastian of 11- ABM Cotrugli. This video presentation is prepared for our topic proposal that will include and cover all of the following areas: The Introduction containing the background, significance, and the Scope and Delimitation of the study. Of course the Research Question, Methodology (which includes the Research Design, Participants of the study, Research Instrument, Data-Gathering Procedure, Ethical Consideration), and last is the Questionnaire. Now, without further ado, let's begin. Dea: Our research is entitled “Natural Environment: A Factor Influencing the Decision of Entrepreneurs in Establishing Food Services along Sived Beach amidst the Pandemic”. To further discuss the research title, allow me to break down the title by fragments. To start, let`s begin with the term Natural Environment. This pertains to a type of macro environment that surrounds a business particularly on the natural attributes and physical state of the environment. Secondly, the phrase, A Factor Influencing the decision of entrepreneurs means that the participants have considered and was driven by the natural aspect of the surrounding before building the business. The phrase also involves the population or the participants who will be taken importance in the study. Next, In Establishing food services along Sived beach, this pertains to the specific area of business that is being influenced by the natural environment. The Sived Beach pertains to the locale of the study and where these businesses are located and operated and at last the term amidst the pandemic pertains to the period when entrepreneurs had established food service outlets along Sived Beach. Frances: Now, lets us proceed to the background of the study: Natural Environment is a type of macro environment that involves the natural attributes and natural aspects of the environment surrounding and influencing the business. This macro environmental factor affects the planning and overall performance of a business making it a great issue of concern in the business world. Common studies of this environmental factor only focuses on the effect of this natural environment to the business performance and its connection to profitability of the business however, with our study, we are not focusing on the effects of the natural environment to the business but rather we are trying to seek the capacity of how this natural environment in affects the entrepreneurs in the establishments of their business specially that the locale of the study is along the Sived Beach. Katrina: Next, I would be discussing the significance of the study. The execution of the study will be highly beneficial to the individuals such as future business owners, entrepreneurs, current and future researchers itself. For future business owners, the study will supervise them to develop a philosophy that could be deeply embedded in their selected business. Also, in the part of the future entrepreneurs, this can help in providing actual experiences and strategies which may be applied to their strategical operations adapted by entrepreneurs before them. Furthermore, for the benefits of the future researchers, this will provide a great aid as their reference especially if they are conducting research that is connected to the natural environment surrounding the business. And finally, the researchers itself will be highly benefited since this study is a requirement in the subject Practical Research, an applied subject in ABM. Kim: This research study is focused in determining the factors and reasons mainly covered in the aspect of natural environment that influence entrepreneurs in establishing their own Food Services along Sived Beach, a developing area in Sto. Domingo. The study limited its sample research participants from 10 to 15 entrepreneurs who have constructed their business along the Sived Beach and are given each of a consent form in request for their participation. It would conduct an open-ended interview with the entrepreneurs who would be taking part in the study's survey and the information and data gathered in the interview therefore can only be valid in Sived Beach, Sto. Domingo and cannot be assigned to any other sites with different research participants. In this regard, the findings of the conducted study are only valid in this time period and can eventually be change in the course of time. Reynalyn:
