The impact of this skill can have a positive and negative impact on you as a person and others around you because if you have a negative body language your colleagues will pick up on and bring their moods and attitudes down, whereas a positive impact could influence others around you and maintain a positive attitude towards your work. Positive language Positive language is nothing however exploitation of positive words and perspectives in a good manner. For instance, if we tend to be portrayed as a good use of language and in an understanding manner, it would be a positive use. The use of the tone of voice is a good indication of if someone will use positive language or not. For instance, if we tend to see an only half-filled bottle, we can justify that in 2 ways in which - one in a positive manner spoken communication "the bottle is half-filled", or in the negative manner spoken communication "the bottle is half empty". It is best not to use them if there is any doubt. Rule 1. Capitalize the first word of a document and the first word after a period. This will define where a new sentence or paragraph starts, giving the reader an easier understanding of the text and allowing them to take a break in between periods of reading. Spelling Spelling is the ability to spell words correctly. It is also an attempt to spell a word correctly. Communication: good spelling facilitates communication. After all, you need to be informed of any relevant information instead of irrelevant information which would have a negative impact because you would end up doing the wrong thing and wasting time on that.

Conclusion

During this task within the unit, I have learned about all the different ways we communicate with others around us whether that’s in our workplace or general day to day life. It is important that we maintain this and giving a positive outlook to ourselves and others around us. With doing this task I have learned I don’t always give a good impression with my body language and that is something I will want to work on, so with doing this task it has helped me understand where I am slightly off with my communication in some areas. With having an explanation for each of the different communication methods I can work on that and turn things around. Going into the future this task has helped me in numerous ways since I didn’t realise that there were so many different communication methods and with this understanding, I can now see why some people may think I’m not good in certain aspects of communication. One of the main things I will take away from this task is to always proofread my work even if it’s a simple handwritten or text message.
