Part 2
This is a quantitative data; this is prevalence of first product tried among tobacco product users. Total users on this study is 1020 and also it can be expressed in numerically. I choose bar graph for my lab. A bar graph makes it easy to compare sets of data between different groups at a glance, on this bar graph represents categories on axis and explain the percentage value in other. It’s really helpful to compare different groups. The class size 1020, on this bar graph 9 list frequencies available and it clearly demonstrate the percentage of each frequency list form the total sample. Here the most population first tried is combustible product and least tried is other products. On this bar graph study, the first product tried among tobacco product users is combustible products.So on this population most people start their tobacco use with combustible product, it mean the chance is really high somebody first tried a combustible product will continue their tobacco use. This data can represent in a pie chart or in a table. This data easily can represent in a pie chart. Pie chart also summarize a large dataset and give a visual form so it’s easy to understand and also it permits a visual check of the accuracy of calculation. This graph also can represent in a table, but when comparing to graph and table, table is more confusing and it doesn’t give with more visually-oriented audience. Reference Kowitt, S.
