Why not study in the Alps?
Moving to a foreign country can be a daunting prospect – a new language, a new culture, a totally different way of life. But wouldn’t it be great to study in a beautiful landscape that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive?
The FH Kufstein Tirol – University of Applied Sciences can offer you more than just a study place. Kufstein is surrounded by high mountains which present a breathtaking panorama. The contrast between the historic old town, the fortress and the mountains nearby strongly contribute to the atmosphere and attraction of Kufstein- a flourishing symbiosis of traditions, nature and modernities.
The campus is located in a green, generous park area but still adjacent to the city centre. Many sport and leisure-time possibilities as well as the nearby cultural centers and regional capital cities generate an exciting, international flair. You can go skiing, hiking or mountain biking in the surrounding mountains or take a swim in one of the beautiful Tyrolian lakes. But regardless of whether you choose to enjoy the beautiful nature or one of the cultural offers, the quality of leisure-time in Tyrol is high.
And if you need some help to settle in, our International Office Team is happy to assist. And in no time, you will be part of the multicultural atmosphere at the campus which is created by our 2200 students from more than 50 nations. The fact that we have more than 200 partner universities worldwide means that 200 international incoming students are hosted by the FH Kufstein Tirol annually and that an even larger number of our students go out for a semester or year to study abroad. So let’s go and make some new friends from all over the world!
