The radius of the circular orbit of Phobos is rP = 9,37.106 m and its period of orbit is TP = 0,319 days. Calculate the velocity vP of Phobos in its orbit.

13 The radius of the circular orbit of Deimos is rD = 2,35.107 m. Calculate its period of orbit TD.
21 At the surface of Phobos, both the gravitational field intensity gP due to Phobos and the gravitational field intensity gM due to Mars contribute to the resulting field intensity g. Calculate gP and gM.
22 Calculate the gravitational field intensity gA and gB at both sides of the Phobos surface. Sur un même rayon de Mars !
A meteorite passes Mars and intersects doing so the orbit of Deimos in D and of Phobos in P. Both moons are at such a large distance than they don't influence the velocity of the meteorite. In D the velocity of the meteorite amounts vm = 2,00 km/s. Calculate the velocity vm' of the meteorite in P.
