Victorian Age Victoria before Queen at the age of 18 and She reign for more than 60 years. With the reign of Victoria, Britain befane the most powerful nation in the world, English cities became larger and there were a series of laws in the civil and economic fields. Among the most important laws for example we remember the First Reform Bill of 1832 that limited the representation of middle class. Later there was a law that extended the right to vote to working class. In 1815-46 there was the Corn Law that manteined the price of Corn hight in London. The Poor Law in 1834, reflect the problems of poverty in the Victorian Age. On the other hand, the reign of the queen reached the maximum extension.Great Britain conquered India thus taking possession of Indian species. The Indian Munity of 1857 led to the closure of the Company. In 1877, Queen Victoria was proclaimed Empresses of India.After this event,England conquered Egypt with the Canal Suez, Malaysia, Kenya, Afghanistan.Moreover ( inoltre ) England faced many wars including the one with Boers where England won ( 1899-1902).
