that will possibly happen in the future if the condition is met. It's common when we talk about possible
plans, promises, warnings, threats or persuading someone.
second conditional:
if+ past simple+ present conditional es. if i won a million dollars, I would buy a new car
is used for imaginary situations in the present or in the future.
Third conditional:
if+past perfect+conditional perfect es. if u had worked harder, you would have passed the exam.
Used to express regret about a sitation in the past, an hypothesis about the past, theorical past situation.
