The charts illustrate the ratings for four universities. They present information about student-staff ratio,
research and an overall score.
Charing and Bridwell universities show the largest proportion of students-staff ratio, from 15 to
approximatively 17 students per teacher, in contrast to St James and MSE where the proportion is lower,
with just over 10 students per teacher out of 10.
In tearms of research, there are few differences between St James and MSE universities. Talking about
quality, they have a score of 5 and 4,5 respectively, as opposed to Charing and Bridwell which display a
score of 4 and 3 out of 5.
As far as research intensity, Charing and Bridwell differ essentially, with a score of 2 out of 10 for Bridwell
and 5 out of 10 for Charing. St James and MSE universities show more similar results, with just over 8 out
of 10.
The last chart illustrates the overall score for each university. St James has the best rating, with a score of
100 out of 100, followed by MSE with a score of just under 100. In third place the chart shows Charing
university, with a score just above 60. At the bottom we can find Bridwell university with a score of
approximatively 40.
On balance, it should be noted that St James and MSE don't show significantly different results, contrary to
Charing and Bridwell that show substantial differences in all four charts.
