Learning in Networks – Identify, define and illustrate your own
professional & other networks.
Draw a diagram of your networks, for example as a mind map, where
you describe your most important immediate communities at your
workplace/school and other external networks that you need when
building your own expertise.
Organize your observations and evaluate them based on your course
literature (the reading list) on formal, non-formal and informal learning.
Prepare to share your diagram with your peers and to explain the mind map.
Also prepare to discuss with your peers:
What kind of skills and competences are required in your networks?
What kind of meanings do you give for learning that happens in your
networks?
Adult learning – outline the specificities of adult learning.
Make a list indicating the characteristics of adult learning
Try to identify the educational strategies more useful to arrange a
learning environment for adults
Prepare to share your lists with your peers and to explain your options. Also
prepare to discuss with your peers:
What kind of competences should an adult educator develop?
From a technical point of view:
Each student should:
1. Create a document with his/her own individual task; you should write
your document in English to allow everybody to read it (don’t worry
about your English level, it’s enough that your document is
understandable)
2. Call that document with his/her NAME_FAMILY_NAME (e.g.:
DAVIDE_PARMIGIANI)

  1. Go to your group channel and click on “FILES TAB”, you will find a folder named “INDIVIDUAL TASKS”
  2. Upload this document into this folder (e.g.: if you are a member of group 1, you will have to upload your document into the folder “INDIVIDUAL TASKS” included in the group 1; in the similar way, for the other groups)
  3. Upload your document by October 11th B. COIL Peer assessment of the individual tasks by October 18, 2024 During the following week (from 14th^ till 18th), each student should:
  4. Read the documents written by the other group members
  5. Go to the folder named: INDIVIDUAL TASK – PEER ASSESSMENT; you will find some documents called with the names of group members
  6. Write some personal comments in each document called with the name of other group members; you will have to peer-assess each individual task of your group and write some comments regarding each document; please, declare your own name while you’re writing your comments to facilitate the feedback NOTA BENE: to make a good peer-assessment, please follow these indications:  Does the document present clearly the opinions/ideas of the student about “Adult learning” and “Formal, non-formal and informal learning”?  Is the diagram clear?  Does your mate explain clearly his/her ideas?  Does your mate describe precisely the skills/competences necessary to be a good adult educator?  Does your mate describe precisely the educational strategies to arrange a meaningful learning environment for adults?
