Materiale didattico concorso in inglese What is the Brainstorming? The brainstorming is a creative group technique aimed at generating some specific ideas for the solution of problems. Thanks to this kind of technique, the creative game plays an important role in the association of the ideas. In fact, it can have tons of benefits such as the increase of working in groups. What is the Cooperative Learning? it is a didactic method in which the students work together, in little groups, in order to achieve a common goal, trying to improve their way of learning, even exchanging different points of views and different ways of thinking. Peer Education: The peer education is an educative strategy which supports the communication between the teenagers reactivating the information and the experiences exchange into the peers group; and so a person starts educative activities with people like him. Peer Tutoring: It is the passage of peer-to-peer knowledge. It can be considered an educational strategy aimed at activating a "spontaneous" passage of knowledge, experiences, emotions from some members of a group to other members of equal status, favoring individual improvement through the use of pairs of peers. What is the laboratory learning? It is a way of learning referring to a didactic scenario in which a student designs, acts and builds the knowledge together with the entire class. The laboratory teaching is aimed at encouraging an active and critical aspect of the students towards the knowledge, on the basis of curiosity and challenge. What are BES (Special Educational Needs)? They refer to those students who, for some reasons, are experiencing a situation of difficulty in learning the school subjects or in managing their school experience. Their global situation is problematic, but not such as to obtain a handicap certification; however, teachers must adapt their training offer to the needs of these students. What are DSA (acronimo di Specific Learning Disorder)? The term specific learning disabilities refers to a group of disorders consisting of significant difficulties in the acquisition and use of listening skills, oral expression, reading, reasoning and mathematics, presumably due to system dysfunctions central nervous. The Interactive Whiteboard (LIM): It is a tool linked to the traditional whiteboard, but, its main benefit is that it is multimedia and it can improve the lessons, thanks to the internet connection and the projector, useful for letting the students see some practical examples of the treated topics. Competences: it is the ability to use knowledge, ability and personal talent, social and methodological ones, into work’s situations and in the professional and personal development. It is, in short, a complex knowledge that harmonizes within it the capacity to make decisions and a great sense of responsibility. Knowledge: they indicate the result of the assimilation of information through learning. Knowledge is the set of facts, principles, theories and practices related to a field of study or work. Abilities: they indicate the capacity to apply knowledge and use them to complete tasks and solve problems. In the European Qualifications Framework, skills are described as cognitive and practical. 1
