NB: once again, a grammar tense, not a conditional clause type!
AFF: sogg + would (‘d) have + past participle Ex: She would have told you about it
NEG: sogg + would not (wouldn’t) have + past participle Ex: I wouldn’t have bought
these jeans
INT: would + sogg + have + past participle Ex: Would you have accepted
that job?
INT-NEG: wouldn’t + sogg + have + past participle Ex: Wouldn’t you have accepted
that job?
SHORT ANSWERS: Yes, sogg + would / No, sogg + wouldn’t Ex: Yes, I would / No,
she wouldn’t
