Usually, children start school at the age of 6 or 7. It mainly depends on the country they live in and their level of mental/intellectualbrain development. Sometimes it can be hard to decide whethereither to send the child (which child?) to primary school or leave themit in kindergarten and let them enjoy one more year of childhood and fun. So should children start school younger than they do now? As I see it, beginningstarting school at a younger age can allow students to progress through the educational system more quickly. As a consequence, it can lead to better academic performance later on. Additionally, starting school earlierearlier gives children a chance to forgecreate bonds with other peers and develop their social skills. Young children are less prejudiced than teenagers. They are more likely to build friendships and learn how to collaborate. Children don’t care about cultural or national differences, and so for sure they can clearly create a healthy and friendly environment. However, what we need to consider is the possibility thatof children arebeing not ready for school- level education in their early yearsat a younger age. Pushing them to start learning before they are emotionally and socially prepared could lead to stress and academic struggles. What’s more, it can contribute to academic burnout. The pressure of achieving great results from a very early age can lead to tiredness or even disinterest in learning. As you can see, starting school at a younger age has as many pros as cons. As far as I’m concerned, it’s a private matter for every parentcase of every child. Every pupil one of them is different and has different needs and ambitions. It’s crucial to base this decision on individual factorsbasis.
