(2) Predict the manometer reading after a 2-N weight is placed on the pan. Assume no
leakage or friction beween the piston and cylinder.

Work and turn in problems P2.17, P2.22, P2.31, P2.32, P2.36, P2.41, and P2.44 in White (2008). Also, work and turn in the following three problems, which are candidates for grading:

(1) Find the pressure difference, Δ p = p (^) BpA , for the manometer system shown.

(2) Predict the manometer reading after a 2-N weight is placed on the pan. Assume no leakage or friction beween the piston and cylinder.

(3) For the inclined manometer shown, the pressure in pipe A is 0.6 psi. Find the pressure in pipe B for the differential reading shown.
