In what aspect of your life you were able to show the different sides
of yourself?
1. One of the general factors that influence people on viewing one's self
is their intellect and the skill they possess that attract other people into
admiring their personality. Socrates for example, is a great philosopher that
introduced a lot of methods and paradoxes that is used until now. Socrates
always crave for new knowledge and consistent love for wisdom.
2. There are two sides of me, one for my close friends and relatives. This
the comfortable side of me where I lower myself and laugh with them and
their jokes. The other is for important matter where it requires formality.
3. It is possible since an individual's perspectives usually come down from
its family and families commonly viewpoint are from their ancestors'
cultures. Given that I am too, has a piece of my family's culture that I believe
and follow as a self rule.
4. George Mead's trilogy - Mind, Self and Society dicusses that one's
behavior is mostly developed through behavior and interaction of an
individual's self with reality. Relating to Clifford Geertz' saying which is
almost identical. Both of them saying that and individual's experience makes
it more influential than the culture they taught from their families.
Choose a side of yourself then explain:
1. The other side of myself I would like to express is my comfortable side.
This is the personality I always liked, it makes me happy and it always lift my
mood up. When I'm comforatable with someone, it feels like home, it feels
safe and it will unfailingly be the side I like the most.
