Name : Anna Garcia. 20 years old female Events in order What happened before Anna died: Anna ran into Sam at soccer practice, Sam texted her and told her to stay away from her, Eric and Anna got into an argument at lunch, and Dominique texted her about how she thinks she does not deserve the scholarship over her.

Are the Statements Reliable? Taylor Diaz and Dr. Elise Opal showed no
signs of dishonesty, and their statements could be believed. However,
there were signs/indications that Eric Piedmont, Dominique Hall, and
Sam Greene were lying.
How did you assess the reliability? By measuring the rise in their heart
and breathing rates, we can assess their reliability. It is concluded that
the rise is false if it is observable and significantly changes.

Analysis Evidence
What can be learned from the digital evidence? The digital evidence clearly
showed two significant events: Sam and Anna ran into each other at soccer
practice, and Eric and Anna got into a fight. Sam also sent Anna some suspicious
texts and remarks.
Fingerprints: Anna's fingerprint was discovered on the flask, and Eric's fingerprint
matches the one on the note.
Blood: The blood of Eric and Anna was discovered on the scene.
Hair: Anna's shirt contained Eric's hair.
Findings from the DNA analysis: The only DNA discovered at the crime scene
belonged to Anna and Eric.
Whats clear, and what’s unclear?
Is there anything still unclear in this case? I believe there is enough evidence to conclude that Eric killed Anna, but we still don't know exactly when he was working on the day of Anna's death. If he was with Anna when she was killed, the schedule might help us piece together where he was. The reason the adult big fly and its eggs were close to her is another mystery.
What is needed to move forward?
Information required to close the case: Question Eric about everything he did that day in order to close this case. We could question those closest to him about his whereabouts and whether they were with him if we believe he is lying. We can piece together where he was on the day Anna passed away and whether he was with her when she passed away with the aid of this information.
