  2. Voltmeter
  3. Ammeter
  4. Connecting Wires

Power Supply Resistance: Resistance is the opposition that a substance offers to the flow of electric current Resistivity: Resistivity refers to the electrical resistance of a conductor of a particular unit cross-sectional area and unit length Mathematically: ρ = RA /l. LAB TASK: For finding resistivity of copper wires we have to do the following steps:
  6. Switch on the power supply and give small amount of current in the wire. Record the current and corresponding voltage across the wire from the meters on the power supply.
  7. Keep on changing the current with regular intervals and record corresponding voltages and insert values in the table below. OBSERVATIONS AND CALCULATIONS:
