In this assignment we will learn how math and Medicine are related and especially how rational functions are used in Medicine. We’ll look into the requirements like education And how much can a person earn in Medicine and a situation where rational function is used in medicine and it is sketched using x interception, y interception, Asymptotes, holes, end behavior, intervals. Introduction:

Average salary of a doctor is 80000 to

90000. Whereas doctors who has done their specialization earns about 130000. Math is used in medicine in a lot of ways like while the doctors write prescription they use math to how much tablet a person must take in a day, math is used in x-ray and CAT scans and even body mass index(BMI). On the other hand math is used to calculate the success rate of the operations done by a hospital. Medicine uses Rational functions especially to determine the concentration level of blood steam when a person is injected with some medicine usually before a surgery.

Calculations A equation where ‘t’ is to represent time in seconds and ‘C’ is to represent Concentration. This equation is with reference with the above para about the concentration of blood steam.

5)Conclusions From this report we learned how math is used in medicine and how rational function is specifically used in medicine by doctors before a surgery to determine the concentration of the blood steam. This shows how important math is in a medical career.
