2. (i) Describe the operation of a Superheterodyne receiver and give block diagram of RF chain
for this receiver, naming the different parts.
(ii) Explain the role of frequency mixer in above Superheterodyne receiver? Draw circuit
diagrams for two frequency mixer circuits clearly labeling where input signals applied, and
from where output signal is obtained?
Note: your answer to Question 2 must not exceed 2.5 A4-size pages, and total number of
figures should not exceed 04. make sure not to copy each other's answers.
