The tests were interesting as they all gave similar feedback. I took all three tests so I can pick the two that most accurately matched each other. In this case, Test One and Test Two classified me as an ESTJ, while Test Three classified me as an ISTJ. While Test Three is almost identical to Test One and Two except for the comparison between introversion and extroversion, I will only be discussing two tests, Test One and Test Two, as instructed. In my opinion I think the test output was suprising accurate though. I would agree with the three strongest traits that I have, sensing, thinking, and judging. In test two, I got the same results which also included that I was moderate in these three traits and slightly extravert. I think those statements are especially on key because I tend to not be at any extremes. Although I have those tendancies. Even with that said I think the test is too two dimensional to really describe the complex personality of a human being. Although it may be accurate in general situations, there could be a lot of times where the person changes from an ESTJ to another personality type. You have to not only take in account the estimated personality trait of that human being, but also the outside factors. There can be many external pressures that can cause the person to react differently. For example, I myself react differently when it comes to either extraversion or introversion. I take into account the group of people I am dealing with. I will be more extravert in cases where I already know a few people in the group or if they are a group of my peers. On the contrary, I may tend to be more introvert when I am faced with a group of adults or professionals. So I believe I can either be an ESTJ or a ISTJ. While the people I interact with is a factor, the situation is also a factor. I will tend to judge and think when it comes to decisions or problems that deal with assignments, while if it becomes to dealing with people I think being judgemental is to mechanical. I act with feeling and judgement when it comes to problem solving dealing with people. Overall, I think the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) developed by Carl Jung is a accurate way to give a general sense of a person’s personality type. I agreed with the results on how it measured my personality. It is however not comprehensive enough to be a predictor of our response to a wide ranges of problems we face. Our personality can simply not be mapped out in about a mere seventy multiple choice questions. Honor Code "I have not received unauthorized aid with this assignment.
