Assignment I 心理所 U76121034 蘇子航 I. Assignment goal Figure out the level of correlation between two different fMRI data pre-processing order ( RA : stands for slice-time correction first, then motion correction; AR : the opposite of RA). And the bigger issue: Which one should we execute? In addition, I took subject 15 as the target to complete this assignment. II. Procedure a. Preparation: Choose a single voxel (32,32,20) and draw the time series plot using the time as the y- axis, and value as the x-axis. As the graph below shows, we are struggling to differentiate between one another by eye viewing. b. Use the function ‘xff…’ to load both ar & ra bold.nii files into MATLAB. c. Add another ‘subxx…bold.nii’ file as a mask to pre-select which voxel is the actual brain. d. Run the codes below to collect all brain voxels’ correlation values between ar & ra. Finally, construct the histogram of all r values.
III. Result Referring to the accompanying histogram, which illustrates the distribution of correlations between "ar" and "ra" in brain voxels is highly condensed above 0.9. Furthermore, the codes also reveal that a significant majority, approximately 86%,28343 of examined
