Instructions: The student uses the first hour (2 hours max) to hand sketch the assembly both as an assembly and individual parts. When the assembled model has been sketched and handed back to the supervisor then the student can log onto the computer. The student must use the hand sketches only to produce the CAD drawings, even if they have forgotten to take dimensions.

Requirements for this examination: CAD room in Mechanical/Manufacturing Dept. Part A: sketch paper, steel rule, vernier, micrometer, protractor Part B & C: Auto Cad software, specialised dept account set up for the student for the exams.
