Let me share the mnemonic I studied in my first year
Branches of posterior cord : ULTRA or ULNAR
* Upper subscapular nerve
* Lower subscapular nerve
* Thoracodorsal nerve / Nerve to Latissimus Dorsi
* Radial nerve
* Axillary nerve
PS : If you're studying the mnemonic ULNAR, don't get confused with Ulnar nerve
Branches of lateral cord : LML
* Lateral pectoral nerve
* Musculocutaneous nerve
* Lateral root of median nerve
Branches of Medical Cord : M4U
* Medial Pectoral nerve
* Medial Cutaneous Nerve of Arm
* Medial Cutaneous Nerve of Forearm
* Medial root of Median Nerve
* Ulnar Nerve

Breakdown of the lecture:
The brachial plexus goes from C5 to T1. Count them on your fingers (C5, C6, C7, C8,
T1).
Say it out loud: Reach To Drink Cold Beer (Roots, trunks, divisions, cords, branches).
Draw 3 Ys, horizontally, alternating in direction. Then add 3 Es. Then an X.
Label it all: Most Alcoholics Must Really Urinate (Musculocutaneous, Axillary, Median,
Radial, Ulnar).
Finally, draw in the long thoracic nerve at the very end, innervating the serratus anterior
muscle.
Voila!

Easy Way To Remember Brachial Plexus With Mneumonics
Brachial plexus is the most important topic of anatomy, which each one of us has to
remember for medical examination in 1st year of our MBBS. In this post we will be
sharing the easiest way to remember the brachial plexus with mnemonics plus
some great diagram which will help you to put a good grip on this topic.
Before diving to the Brachial Plexus Mnemonics lets have a brief introduction of
them:)
Brachial Plexus are constituted by the anterior primary rami of the spinal nerves C5, C6,
C7, C8, and to T1, with contribution from the anterior primary rami of C4 and T2. The
origin of the plexus may shift by one segment either upwards or downward, resulting in
a prefixed or postfixed plexus respectively.

"In a prefixed plexus, the contribution by C4 is large and that from T2 is often
absent.
In a postfixed plexus, the contribution by T1 is large. T2 is always present, C4 is
absent, and C5 is reduced in size.
