My name is Obadah Alhurani

• I selected HTU cause it offers me many opportunities in the work place as it depends on the practical studying more than theoretical studying this will help the students to learn easier and more effective.
• I selected this major due to the goals and ambitions and where i find my self, my future plan will be to finish my studies and work as a freelancer website developer and the main work will be in any field of the cyber security fields.
• Then I will start my own business but I didn’t know what it will be about I enjoy working with a group because it helps a lot to finish the work and it helps to know how others work and how they think while working.
• Also, it makes the tasks easier as the work will be divided equally between the team members.

• I chose HTU because of its practical approach to education and its emphasis on the requirements of the industry.
• I decided what major to go for by looking at a list of all majors available and picking the ones that caught my interest and have good potential in the future. Then I listed the advantages and disadvantages of each one and picked accordingly.
• (^) For my first job, I want to start as an apprentice in a company and prove myself to them so I can get a permanent job there. And if that doesn’t work, I will try to apply to as many jobs as possible and take extra courses in the meantime to increase my value to employers.
• I hope I will be working as software engineer in a company in Jordan.
• I enjoy working in groups very much if they are motivated because that pushes me to work beyond my limits and helps elevate my productivity.

• I decided to join the HTU because I heard it didn’t use memorization methods in teaching technical skills.
• I enrolled as a Mechanical engineer (arbitrarily) in the beginning but after I researched the industry I decided that I am better off going into IT
• because of how engineering is in Jordan.
• I am studying front-end technologies to apply to high paying jobs and I hope In five years I am at one of the FANG companies.
• (^) I used to not like working in groups but I have good experiences in Soft Skills and Bootcamp and now I look forward to working with people.
