Company Introduction Darrah is a concept based on technology and community support. With advancement of technology all businesses are moving their focus from physical presence to online presence. Darrah brings forward the same concept but without any physical presence. The virtual restaurant concept (along with ghost kitchens) enabled restaurants to generate more business, and cover their labor/fixed overhead costs, by marketing and delivering food of more diverse types than could be offered by one traditional physical storefront. By offering menu items that could be made using many of the same existing ingredients already in the kitchen, restaurants could appear to be offering several different styles of cuisine and appeal to increased numbers of customers. A kitchen crew could then be more effectively employed to cook multiple menus rather than only a single physical restaurant at low capacity. The concept was also enabled by the growing centralization of food ordering online and through apps, making it possible for a restaurant to enter the market more easily, offer new menus and choices quickly and at low cost. The owners want to focus on the community and cuisine rather than an extensive menu or physical presence. Darrah will be launched in different countries at the same time and will be operated and controlled centrally from Calgary, AB Canada. The company will focus on bringing the community together and operating in different locations while keeping the quality management check. the food delivery space is expected to grow to $151.5 billion in 2021. The number of online food delivery service users also rose from 1.17 billion in 2019 to 1.43 billion in 2020. That number is predicted to jump to 1.6 billion by the end of 2021. China made up the largest segment of the market in 2020 ($51. billion), growing by 28% year-over-year. And its 650 million delivery customers made up close to half of the global user base. In the U.S., online food delivery apps bring in a collective $26.5 billion. That’s 3 times more revenue than they generated just five years ago. And the U.S. market is expected to almost double by 2025, reaching about $42 billion. It’s estimated that, by the end of 2020, the food delivery market made up 13% of the total restaurant sector. This is compared to a predicted 9% before COVID-19. And this sector of the market isn’t expected to slow anytime soon. 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 0 20 40 60 80 100 120 140 160 180 35.3 44.^ 53. 70.7 79.^ **86.
