CANES INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
Tell me about yourself... - correct answer Well, I'm a junior at The Woodlands High
School and don't have much work experience. However I'm very involved with my
church and with Junior ROTC. I'm actually the community service NCO, and that
means that I'm responsible for cooridinating a lot of our community service projects.
I love serving my community, meeting new people, and trying new things. It's just
really satisfying to know that I'm taking care of other people.
Why should we hire you? - correct answer Well, I haven't worked at a restaurant
before, but I'm a quick learner, and through both volunteering at my church and in
JROTC, I've had to assume some pretty responsible roles and I always put my best
foot forward when doing so.
What is your greatest strength? - correct answer I'm very organized and great with
time management. I don't procrastinate, or else it bothers me. This mainly is
exemplified with my school work, but I know I can direct that energy towards other
tasks.
What is your greatest weakness? - correct answer I am bad at telling people no or
being the messenger of bad news. For example, if I was ever put in the position
where I would have to fire someone, I would definitely struggle, but I am working on
it.
Why do you want to work here? - correct answer I really admire the culture of
Cane's and how it really stands out from other restaurants because of how involved
with the community it is. Every time I come to Cane's, the people are always in a
great mood, and once I saw that y'all were hiring on the bulletin board at my school,
I knew it would be a fun place to work.
Do you have any questions for me? - correct answer I've noticed that the company
has a large focus on community service, mainly because of the reachouts after
hurricane Harvey and how it's put on the website. How exactly does that work? How
often does the company get involved with community service and how can
employees get involved with that if there are those opportunities? Also... What's in
the sauce?
