Communication Challenges
Communication takes place through a given system and involves two parties, the
sender and receiver of the message using a transit process. Workplace communication
involves various parameters such as messages, calls, emails, texts, and notes made. It is
essential for the workers in any workplace to effectively know communications is an integral
part of creating a trustworthy workplace environment for increased output. Effective
communication in the workplace informs, unites, and warns the involved workers towards
taking duties, delegating work functions, and cautioning workers with respect. However,
communication may be a challenge in various workplaces; hence it is essential to discuss how
the process is carried out. The Paper discusses various challenges in touch by considering
different workplaces.
Communication challenges in the external environment that is media/public;
Communication problems related to media include challenges with the targeted
audience and overall public scrutiny. Communication challenges experienced by the media
personals in the channellings of messages are the source of the news being a journalist and
information auditors. Van Ruler (2018) argues that Irregular communication between the
source (journalist) and the receiver, who is the public, brings a lot of confusion. And in the
process, the people who are the listeners tend to research and scrutinize the transparency of
the piece of information aired by the media. The targeted audience of the information
communicated to is a challenger in the current external forces hindering proper channellings
of the receivers' info. The challenges concerning the shortcomings experienced by the

Problems experienced by criminal justice societies/agencies; Bryan, Garvani, Gregory, & Kilner, (2015) reiterates that Criminal justice workplace experience various communication challenges such as language barrier among the victims, the non-coordinated challenge of information, challenges in a shift of conveying information, and listening problems. Some of the critical information is never communicated to the express, and some of the terms used by the justice authorities are difficult for the common victims to understand. Problem with the verbal communication experienced in policing and in most cases victim criminology requires that face to face and in case the justices opt to audio communication it creates a challenge for proper communication. Most of the victims have a challenge with their language use; some illiterate cannot communicate national language barring from getting first-hand information from the sender (Bryan, Garvani, Gregory, & Kilner, 2015). This issue of language barriers forces criminologists to first understand the message from the victims and readjust to the magistrate creating room for distortion of the information. Poor coordination, in turn-taking during the hearing in the state of justice, reduces the interest in listening to one another.
