Dallas lies in the northern hemisphere and Sydney lies in the southern hemisphere. On March 21 , Dallas and Sydney will receive almost similar daylight because of the spring equinox in Dallas and the autumn equinox in Sydney. On June 21 the northern hemisphere will experience summer solstice and tropics of Cancer will receive direct sunlight, and the North Pole will receive 24 hours of daylight. The southern hemisphere will experience winter solstice and the south pole will be 24 hours dark. There will summer season in the northern hemisphere and winter in the southern hemisphere. Therefore Dallas will receive more daylight than Sydney. On September 21 , Dallas and Sydney will receive almost similar daylight because of the autumn equinox in Dallas and the spring equinox in Sydney. On December 21 the southern hemisphere will experience summer solstice and the Tropic of capricorn will receive direct sunlight, the South Pole will receive 24hrs daylight. The northern hemisphere will experience winter solstice and the north pole will be 24 hours dark. There will summer season in the southern hemisphere and winter in the northern hemisphere. Therefore Dallas will receive less daylight than Sydney.
