Introduction In recent times, digital data has become a useful asset in the business world. Nowadays, most businesses depend on the accurate collection of data, it’s organization and analysis in order to make useful and important decisions. I have thoroughly performed a survey into our data center operations and how our application programming interface (API) is hosted and supported within our environment. In addition to this, I have carried out research on several cloud technologies companies that also offer services that would enable us to solve our expanding costs. Hence, this well-planned data center migration will have the power to change the company’s overall operating environment. Objectives Some of the objectives of this migration to cloud by the company would be:  Minimizing infrastructure investment costs so that the company can be more focused on the details of its functionality.  Expanding our system to allow better scalability and more vigorous options.  To reduce costs that are associated with maintenance, hardware etc.  To enhance our web store with new and exciting features that are more accessible and with better security measures.  Reduce employee cost due to less maintenance and support requirements. Execution strategy/proposal When this proposal is approved, higher management/leadership will go ahead to choose a cloud product and select the necessary services in order to complete any required documents and contracts. We will be able to carefully select some of the services that are best for our needs, hence while leadership is busy finalizing the cloud 3

contract, management can go ahead to start implementing the cultural and technological changes involved such as training employees and role reassignment in order to prepare for the migration. Next step will be the cloud training and cloud readiness assessment. By choosing to migrate to a cloud-based infrastructure, the organization will be able reduce the cost associated with operating a data center. This new cloud model will allow AdconcLLc to grow while also decreasing the cost to manage, maintain and support the API and data center. 1. Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) is a market segment for IT security tools that are designed to identify misconfiguration issues and compliance risks in the cloud. An important purpose of CSPM programming is to continuously monitor cloud infrastructure for gaps in security policy enforcement.
2. Virtualization in Cloud Computing is making a virtual platform of server operating system and storage devices. This will help the user by providing multiple machines at the same time it also allows sharing a single physical instance of resource or an application to multiple users. Virtualization in cloud computing can prevent your IT system from failing. A virtual machine helps protect your IT environment from bugs, viruses, and crashes when you are testing software or trying out a new program.
