• Clusters in red and blue were the closest in the previous slide, so we combined them

• Now the red and the green clusters were the closest in the previous slide, se we combined them

• Now we combine the last two clusters into one.

The hierarchical clustering forms a dendrogram that stores the memory of all the steps just followed previously. This helps us in exploring clustering problems

We need to explore how can we determine the correct number of clusters using hierarchical clustering? This is where the dendrogram helps us
