AutoCAD is a popular computer-aided design ( CAD ) software program created and distributed by Autodesk. It is commonly used to make precise 2D and 3D drawings and models by architects, engineers, drafters, and other professionals in many kinds of industries. AutoCAD is well-known for its powerful design and drafting skills, making it an indispensable tool for professionals working on design, engineering, and construction projects. Some of the basic commands in AutoCAD include:

  1. QSAVE : Saves the current drawing.
  2. ARC : Creates an arc.
  3. ZOOM : Increases or decreases the magnification of the view in the current viewport.
  4. WBLOCK : Writes objects or a block to a new drawing file.
  5. STRETCH : Stretches objects crossed by a selection window or polygon.
  6. EXPLODE : Breaks a compound object into its component objects.
  7. ERASE : Removes objects from a drawing.
  8. DIMSTYLE : Creates and modifies dimension styles.
  9. CIRCLE : Creates a circle.
  10. REDRAW : Refreshes the display in the current viewport.
  11. FILLET : Rounds and fillets the edges of objects.
