CLO3: Develop a business application for an organisation to improve process performance. (P4, PLO3) Note:
This assignment is a partial fulfilment of requirements for students taking the course BAIT2144 Business Processes Management. In this assignment, students are required to analyse an existing business process, develop an improve process model then implement the improved model using a suitable BPM technology.
Form assignment group. Preferred group size is 3 or 4 students per group. Analyze ONE (1) existing manual or a grade “C” / “F” business process of a company. Then automate it to improve its performance.
1. Process Modeling State the company name and process name 1.1 A brief description of the AS-IS process 1.2 The AS-IS process model (try to fit 1.1 and 1.2 into 1 page) 2. Problems of the AS-IS process List and explain the problems of the AS-IS process 3. Process Redesign 3.1 The TO-BE process Model 3.2 Explain how the TO-BE process is better than the As-IS process (try to fit 3.1 and 3.2 into 1 page) 4. Appropriate footers and headers should be used to enhance clarity and presentation. ● Margin. 3 cm ( 1 inch ) for all. ● Page numbering. Ensure that all pages (except cover page) are numbered. ● Paper Size. Use A4 paper. ● Binding. All pages to be properly stapled and staple once only at the top left corner.

It is not acceptable for students to submit identical answers, by simply copying the work done by another student or group. Assignment that is copied from another student or group will be failed.
