Conditional SWPPP Example Narrative
CONTRACTOR would like to start clearing trees from the work sites to prepare
them for construction activity. We intend on cutting down the trees and leaving
them in place until a later date. The trees will be cut with chain saws fueled with
gasoline. Vehicles fueled with either gasoline or diesel will be used to access the
locations but will be parked at the peripheries of the work sites to minimize soil
disturbance. Access to the individual tree locations will be via foot. Drainage
conveyances will be avoided during the tree falling operation. Tree falling activities
will not result in blocked drainage pathways and drainage inlets. Portable toilets will
be towed to the sites via truck. They will remain hitched to the truck for the
duration of each work day and towed off the site at the end of shift.
