The Teacher Named Failure Failure knocks on every door, A guest we fear, yet must embrace. It humbles pride, it shakes the core, And leaves its lessons in its place. For in its weight, though hard to bear, It molds our hearts with tender care. It speaks of paths not meant to be, Of risks we took, of battles fought. It shows the cost of bravery, The wisdom that we dearly sought. For failure’s sting, though sharp and cold, Is where true strength begins to hold. No soul has climbed to heights of light Without the shadows cast below. Through countless falls, we find our fight, And in defeat, new seeds will grow. For every stumble, loss, or scar Becomes the fuel for who we are. Failure whispers: "Rise once more," When dreams lay shattered on the ground. It opens up another door Where hope and purpose can be found. It is not loss, but life’s design, To teach us grace and redefine. So wear your failures, not with shame, But as the proof you dared to try. They are the chapters of your name, The storms that shaped your brightest sky. For through the cracks, light finds its way, And failure builds the dawn of day.
