A Guide to Criminal Procedure in Uganda Justice Benjamin J Odoki is the Chief Justice of Uganda since 2001. He has had a distinguished career in the legal and judicial service, rising from a State Attorney to the Director of Public Prosecutions, from a Senior Lecturer in law to Director of the Law Development Centre, and from Judge of the High Court to Justice of the Supreme Court. He has served as Chair of the Uganda Law Council and the Uganda Constitutional Commission. He taught Criminal Procedure at the Law Development Centre and Makerere University for many years. This book is based on his prosecuting and teach- ing experience in Criminal Procedure. It is written in simple, readable and practical style.
