This report is part of your group assignment. Make sure you join a group and start collaborating.

By week 2, students should already be in their groups. There should be 5 members in a group for the group project.

Tasks:

  1. Identify the design challenge / problem the group is interested to solve.
  2. Design the survey / interview questions (primary research).
  3. Report on the findings (at least 50 survey participants OR 10 interviewees). During the weekly online meeting

with instructor – Week 3, present the group research report.

  1. Submit the Group Research Report in ppt format in Week 3 through ‘My Group Assignment’ (left panel).
  • Sketch / photo or screen shot / upload a video of the prototype

(the different versions if any)

Get feedback from the users, and arrange the comments according to the

 Likes - what they like about the solution

 Dislikes - what they dislike about the solution (area of improvement)

 Questions- what questions they have in mind about the solution

 Ideas - what new ideas they would like to propose

Pitch for Week 7

Group Pitch (20%)

In Week 7, students will pitch their idea in 5 minutes. Each group will be scheduled a slot for online pitch.

Format:

(Describe the pain of the target users / Market validation – provide evidence to support)

 Solution/ Prototype

  • Name of the product or service / How does it work

(Show and tell how it will solve the problem or fill the gaps)

 Market Potential

  • Target Market, key partners, resources, marketing, cost and revenue

 Value Proposition & Business Viability

  • How the product or service creates value/benefits the users?
  • What is the scale up potential?
