Organizational Insight & Practice Questions.

Give me an example of a time when you had to handle multiple responsibilities at

once. How did you prioritize your time? - Answer: >> My weekly schedule

consists of computer science and dance classes, multiple dance rehearsals, club meetings, and as my schedule permits volunteering at the atlanta food bank. I am able to prioritize my time with the help of my planner and attentively scheduling my life hour by hour to make sure I accomplish everything I need to for the day. I also plan on being ahead of my assignments so the days I'm coming home late the assignments are already turned in so I am done for the day. I am able to balance my weekdays in an organized manner and have been successfully balancing all of my responsibilities. Tell me about a time when you collaborated with others who held opposing

viewpoints. - Answer: >> There was a time I was co-choreographing a dance

with one of my teammates. When creating the dance she wanted to incorporate certain moves that I thought were not complex enough. Even though we had two different styles in creating, we fixed this obstacle by dividing the dance in two. She was able to create the first section and I was able to create the second section, so both of our visions came true and came together to form a complete dance. What service projects/programs are you aware of that this chapter is currently conducting in your community/on campus and how can you contribute to the

success of these projects/programs? - Answer: >> I am aware that this chapter

is currently participating in the Dashing Divas Walkathon which is a fundraiser to increase awareness and support the Ch'erette elementary school in Haiti. I can contribute to the success of this program by advertising it to my friends and family for their support and contribution. I could also participate and/or contribute in donating for this cause.

life. - Answer: >> Example: Describe how being an only child you've never

experienced having a sister, but being on a team of all females helped mold you and the bonds that you've developed with them through "the collective movement of dance" illustrates what you believe a Sisterhood exemplifies. Another example of that is the bond that you developed over the 2 years with your debutante sisters. And how you've supported each other through the years, despite being separated at colleges across the US. You're still united. Why are you interested in membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.? (This

question is not rated) - Answer: >> I want to be a part of Delta Sigma Theta

Sorority Incorporated because Delta's are change makers. Delta means change and Delta's do not sit back and watch the world crumble around them; they pick up the pieces and help mold the world with a better foundation. Living is meaningless if you are not uplifting others. If you are not helping others then you are not living. Everyone is placed in this world for a reason and I appreciate how deltas exhibit humanity and empathy towards others. They think about others before themselves. Delta Sigma Theta has advocated for laws and policies to sustain and expand civil rights since our founding in 1913. Tell me about a time you engaged in social

While COVID-19 was shutting down the world, George Floyd had been shot and killed by police officers and put the world in an uproar. I encouraged my family and friends to participate in a protest on Pennsylvania Ave in support of Black Lives Matter. We made and displayed signs. From my participation in this event I made a decision not to silence my voice in the future when I'm aware of injustices.
