Introduction:
E-Greeting is a website application where a user chooses from an on-line catalog of e-cards made available on the web site. After selecting a card, the sender can personalize it to various degrees by adding a message, photo, or video. Finally the sender specifies the recipient's e-mail address and the web site delivers an e-mail message on behalf of the sender to the recipient. An e-card is similar to a postcard or greeting card; with the primary difference being it is created using digital media instead of paper or other traditional materials.
Functionalities requirements:
WEBSITE:
The webpage must contain all the types of the templates in the categorized manner like Birthday, Wedding and New Year and so on. Home Page should be well designed and formatted with all the navigational links, proper header section and footer section of the webpage, Links for login in the site. It should contain links such as HOME; BIRTHDAY, WEDDING, NEW YEAR and FESTIVALS (can be many), SUBSCRIBE, FEEDBACK, LOGIN (ADMIN and USER), Register here.
ADMIN:
ADMIN will update the data of the site. The templates can be added or removed by the Admin. Also the admin can view the feedback received from the users. Admin can view the list of all the transaction done i.e. the cards which are sending, where, time details and so on. User can subscribe for daily receiving cards on the site, this functionalities is not free hence payment details must be checked.
USER:
USER has to register their account first and then can select any of the templates. Then the user must modified pr personalize the data of the card accordingly. Once the modification is done they can go to send option available either at the side links or bottom of the card. Once the send button is clicked then it must open a new window which should have: To field, subject, send button (for sending the card to the desired recipient).
SUBSCRIBE:
The site provides daily sending e-card facilities where user has to register their account and must provide atleast 10 email-ID where the card is to be sent. This option is not free, user has to pay on monthly basis to activate this services.
