Graduates must attend graduation practice and settle all school-related fines to receive graduation tickets.

GRADUATION - Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 7:00 pm at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre. Graduates should report no later than 6:00 pm. More details about logistics will sent later. GRADUATION PRACTICE – Monday, May 17th at 10:00am in the CHS Football Stadium (rain date of May 18th). Students must attend graduation practice. We will begin promptly at 10:00am so please allow plenty of time to park and get to the stadium. If using the front lot to park, please walk around the school to get to the stadium. GRADUATION TICKETS - Each graduate will receive five (5) tickets to the ceremony. There are lawn tickets included in this number. The tickets will only be issued at the graduation practice. Any child of school age must have a ticket. In addition, all school-related fines must be settled. GRADUATION DRESS – Boys should wear dress pants, solid white or pastel dress shirts, tie, and dress shoes. Girls should wear “dressy” attire and dress shoes. (No sandals, tennis shoes or hiking boots) CAP AND GOWN/GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS - If you have not yet placed an order for a Cap and Gown or Graduation Announcements, you may do so by going to the Ga Balfour website. Ga Balfour Cap and Gown/Announcement Orders Caps and Gowns ordered now will be shipped to your home in May. All Graduation Announcement orders must be placed by May 1st^ in order to ensure delivery before Graduation. More details will be available soon about Cap and Gown distribution. SENIOR MEETING - There will be a Senior Meeting regarding graduation information on Friday, April 23rd during Chatt Time through Microsoft Teams. A link to the meeting will be sent out next week. HONOR CORDS - Honor graduates are distinguished by wearing honor cords at the commencement. Summa Cum Laude graduates have earned a cumulative average of 96 or above. Magna Cum Laude graduates have earned numeric averages of 92 – 95.99 and Cum Laude Honor Graduates must have a cumulative numeric average of 88 - 91.99 at the end of fall semester. There is no rounding up to reach the minimum average. The cords are optional and are available to purchase in the Online School Payments on our website beginning April 17 th^ for $10. Once purchased, a student can pick up the honor cord from April 19th-April 30th^ with Mrs. Beaudry in the Front Office. Please confirm eligibility for an honor cord by checking the graduate’s Cumulative GPA before purchasing online. ORGANIZATIONS AND CLUB HONOR ACCESSORIES - Members order and pay for their NHS, Beta Club, and Honor Society collars, cords and tassels through the organizations’ sponsors. DEVICE/TEXTBOOK RETURN – Any Senior who does not need their device or textbook for any further use can begin returning those items now. The textbooks can be returned to the Front Office and the devices to the Media Center from 8:00am-3:00pm. All items must be returned and all fines must be settled before a graduate will receive their graduation tickets.
PROM - Prom tickets are now on sale for $40 through Online School Payments. Prom will be held on Saturday, May 15th^ from 7:30 – 10:30 PM at Chattahoochee High School. This year, only Chattahoochee High School seniors will be able to attend. Each student may only purchase 1 ticket. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. SENIOR EXAM SCHEDULE Spring 2021 Wednesday, May 12th: 3rd, 4th, and 5th^ period exams Thursday, May 13th: 2nd^ and 6th^ period exams Friday, May 14th: 1st^ and 7th^ period exams Monday, May 17th: Makeups (provided in G125) SENIOR EXEMPTIONS Average of 85 or higher not including honor points. Administration will provide process for student exemption request. Students must find their own transportation to and/or from school if exempting a final and choosing to stay home during that exam period.
